EXAMINING THE CROSS
Tuesdays beginning March 11 | 7-8pm | Room 10, Firehouse Campus

The cross is the central symbol of the Christian faith. Most know the symbol, but we're often less certain of what it means? What exactly did Jesus do to save us from our sins? Why was the cross necessary, and what does it mean for us today?

Join leader Mike Pedue for a five week Lenten study examining the many images the Bible uses to explore the meaning of Jesus' death and resurrection. By exploring the mystery of salvation through the cross, we'll deepen our love for God and others and strengthen our commitment to follow Jesus.

The book, Savior: What the Bible Says about the Cross, by Manuel Devega, will be the guide for the class. Please note on your registraiton if you would like us to order a paperback book for you, or if you'd like to purchase the book online on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Savior-What-Bible-About-Cross/dp/1501880993
